    red beveled flat top carnelian cabochon 14x10mm octagon. Carats vary between 3.2-3.9ct These are generally used for cameos and intaglio carvings, but look gorgeous right out the gate.     These rocks are old stock from my great grandparents rock shop "Scott's Gems" down in Beaumont, CA. They ran through the 1960's to the 70s and this collection has been preserved from then. Some material found have tags from the 50s, so some material could be even older.
